Position Objective
Responsible for writing, executing and automating application test cases, as well as extending our test automation framework and tools.
Responsibilities
- Write and execute effective tests cases.
- Automate new and existing test cases.
- Participate in feature design to ensure clear requirements.
- Test application features and scenarios to validate functionality.
- Analyze and prioritize bugs.
- Document and communicate test results to the Test team, appropriate development staff, and/or Program Manager, in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist in defining quality assurance best practices, and coordinate with other team members and teams to ensure information on techniques and methodologies is exchanged in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work on special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Three years of software development and/or testing experience required. A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C#, C++ or Java required.
- Whitebox testing experience is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience of ERP applications is a plus.
- Previous Microsoft experience is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
- Must be able to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills are required.
- The ability to work as a team player is essential.
- Initiative and the ability to work with minimal guidance are essential.
